Kimie Muroya / 室屋季美恵 is a Philadelphia-based theatre performer who has worked with numerous local and regional theatre companies, such as Quintessence Theatre Group, InterAct Theatre Company, Delaware Shakespeare, and Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble. You can see her upcoming work as Hope in South Camden Theatre Company's production of An Infinite Ache and as Regan in Shakespeare in Clark Park's summer 2019 production of King Lear.

Kimie graduated from Temple University with a B.A. in Theater and a concentration in acting. During her time there, she performed with Temple Theaters (Macbeth), in several Temple Theaters Sidestage Season productions (Othello, Shakespeare Star Wars, Tale of the Phantom Ship, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [Abridged]), and three Philadelphia Young Playwrights New Voices festivals.
An advocate for diversity on the stage, she is one of the founding members of Philadelphia Asian Performing Artists (PAPA), a group that focuses on making known the work and presence of Asian theatrical artists in the Philadelphia area.
